Nonprofits with innovative and collaborative projects that will deliver strong results and solid impact are eligible to apply for WIN grants.  Potential grantees must:

be certified 501(c)(3) organizations

have no political or religious affiliation

operate in and serve New Hanover County

WIN uses our Grounded Giving  statement as a guideline for choosing grantees.  Potential grantees are encouraged to read this important, foundational document. 


GRANTS CYCLE for potential grantees – Key Dates

January: Letter of Intent available online

March:  Letter of Intent due

April  First review complete, applications requested from selected potential grantees and due in late April

May: Interviews of potential grantees, grant recipients notified, grant recipients honored at WIN Grant Celebration event

November:  Six-month review of grantees’ progress

May:  One year review of grantees’ progress
